Clarksville, TN – The Community School of the Arts recently hosted a week-long ceramics workshop for 11 Clarksville Academy students.
Christine Lindsey of Clarksville Academy and her students worked with Austin Peay State University, professor Wansoo Kim.
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Christine Lindsey and with Clarksville Academy,” said Community School of the Arts (CSA) Coordinator Dawn Martin Dickins. “The students worked very hard and created amazing work.”

They worked daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Jan. 3-7 during Academy Winterim, a special learning session at Clarksville Academy.
“On the first day, they learned to throw on a potter’s wheel,” according to Winterim’s webpage about a week. “Students made cups, bowls and mushrooms for the fairy gardens.”
