This is an intermediate technical position, requiring at least 5 years of experience in an interior design, architecture or related design company with at least three years of professional experience developing aspects technical design linked to the realization of projects.

Post managers have detailed knowledge of building materials, details, construction techniques, selection of building systems, related engineering principles and building codes. This position works with the project team, providing technical design input and support for the development of the entire design concept. Supervisors should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a solid knowledge of construction documentation.


-Demonstrate knowledge of building codes and standards and the ability to solve complex technical and design problems.

-Actively collaborate with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project. Submit projects for permit approval.

-Supervise construction administration including review of bids / substitution requests and RFIs during construction.

-Examine drawings and designs to ensure accuracy of technical information and adherence to established codes, specifications and standards.

– Research creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develop appropriate research and documentation to support these solutions.

-Contribute to the preparation of design documents and lead the detailed development of construction documents with the Senior Designer / Senior Project Manager.

– Demonstrate detailed knowledge of code compliance, building standards, policies and procedures and direct others in the use of these resources.

-Coordinate with directors and managers to implement standard procedures and protocols to ensure continuity and consistency of project documentation throughout the company.

– Assist and supervise team members directly, if necessary.

– Proactively keep directors and directors informed of the progress of the work and seek clarifications, if necessary.

-Identify problems, risks and conflicts and request assistance and / or delegates in a timely and constructive manner if necessary.
