Island Farm is hosting a workshop on the basics of fermentation: make your own sauerkraut!

Making your own sauerkraut is easy! Join local fermentation expert Owen Sullivan of Hay Point Live Culture Foods at Island Farm for a workshop focused on mastering the lacto-fermentation process!
The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 25, outside the historic Island Farm kitchen; the workshop starts at 2 p.m. and the cost is $35 per person. Space is limited. Attendees will learn the steps to mastering the process in their own kitchen, plus – they’ll walk away with a batch of sauerkraut that’ll be ready to eat within a week! The cost of the workshop includes local and organic vegetables, seasoning mix and all the materials needed for a home professional’s lacto-fermentation kit.
