About the facilitator:

Theresa Darmody moved to Brisbane 5 years ago as a painter – seeking to include sculptural pieces in an exhibition, she attended a sculpture workshop, which made her addicted to sculpture! Theresa’s brushes and paints are now in storage and she finds herself sculpting every day. She enjoys making functional pieces such as spoons, combs and bowls as well as purely sculptural objects. She is fascinated by the shape of the object and the nature of each piece of wood. Find more of his work on @theresadarmody on Instagram.

Competence level: The workshop is particularly suitable for those who have no experience of sculpture.
